It doesn't seem all that long ago, it was the middle of summer. Now all the leaves are off the tress and we are pulling out our woolies! The old saying must be true...Time flies when you are having fun! This year Rick and I had a blast. We had a summer filled with the nicest, most interesting guests. Rick had an incredible adventure ride. He did the Transamerica Trail from Jellico, TN to Port Orford, OR... 4700 miles on dirt roads. Our little fuzzy-faced friends and I had our own adventure going to Cape Cod. Here is a view of Buzzard Roost from our front porch. Rick and I are having a great time with all of our guests. Meeting new people is the absolute best part of having a B&B! We've been told that there needs to be some photos of the lake and sunsets on here. So here is a recent photo looking up river. The weather has been beautiful...perfect for riding.

The Art of the Motorcycle

We have taken some well deserved time off to travel and enjoy sunny Florida. One of our stops was the Orlando Museum of Art to see the exhibit "The Art of the Motorcycle." This is a smaller version of the New York show from a few years ago. Like everyone else, it was hard for us to obey the "do not touch the motorcycle" signs. Here's Rick with the Easy Rider bike. I liked the early Ninja. This is really a great show and a must see for motorcycle enthusiast.

Signs of Spring!

Two weeks ago we were enjoying snow, and now we are celebrating a couple of 70 degree days. The B&B is closed for the winter, but we are busy preparing for the upcoming riding season. January was a very mild month that even afforded us the opportunity to ride a few days, but February is feeling like winter. We awoke to the first (very) little snowfall of the year. More snow is actually forecast for the weekend. So we will be continuing to plan what we can do to make Dragon's End an enjoyable place to be based while riding the incredible roads that are nearby and trying to stay warm.
